In the 15th and 16th centuries, Gaur, under Sultan Hussain Shah’s reign, saw Bengali Hindu society deeply divided by rigid caste distinctions, branding many as “untouchables.” Amidst this darkness emerged a remarkable soul, determined to shatter caste barriers and unite humanity with compassion, kindness, and love. Renouncing domestic life, he set out for Nilachal (modern-day Odisha) to spread his message of brotherhood across India. Despite fierce opposition from Brahmins, threatening his life, he persevered—until he mysteriously disappeared.
